It was a bright and sunny 1st day of Spring - for the 32nd Annual St Marys Spring Festival and Parade.

 

Thousands of people filled the mile long main Queen Street - which was lined it's full length with stalls and displays.   Each year it just gets bigger - and is almost like a Royal Easter Show there is so much to see.

 

By the time Penny and I had walked the length of the street and back - stopping to talk to people we met - or who recognized us - and watching the Parade at 12.30 - it was mid afternoon before we made our way all the way back to the car - 2 very weary 'festivallers' - Penny who had been all patted out - and exhausted from the crowds and walking - was asleep on the back window shelf - before the first corner.
